(BUKAN) catatan perjalanan

just got back to my room. this vacation has given me: not only several scarces and bruises on my leg, but also unforgettable memories and experience.

first, the scarces and bruises came from my "stupid doesn't play" (bego bukan main, ka artha's most favorite sentence ;) ). i stepped on a boat rope tied to a near-by tree while the boat was actually moving. so it kinda rubbed my leg and left some "traces" on it.
i got the bruise on my knee by a stone as we were walking in a stony river towards the sendang gila waterfall.

despite of all those, i had a total fun. this vacation was meant to be a tranquil and relaxing vacation. but it turned out to be a quite sporty one. hehe =)
1st day we had a "standard" lombok trip: taliwang irama resto, banyumulek (potteries), sukarare (tenun), and kuta beach. always been in love to this beach since the 1st time i went there on 2004.

2nd day, the "so called" soft treking to senaru rinjani. the treking itself took about 2 hours. and the most interesting part would be: every body!!! get wet under the waterfall!!!
you'd forget that you're no longer 10 years old! hehe =)

next destination: gili trawangan
by a chartered boat and cidomo (a.k.a. delman) we arrived at our hotel: Villa Almarik, totally recommended to all of you. quite pricy but worths it. the italian owner welcomed us with welcome drinks, explained the hotel facilities, etc... wait til i tell how our room looked like...

at least 60 m2 surface-natural stones decorated bungalow, a large bed room with a large double bed, and a "window bed" with comfy pillows, with flowers spreaded on them...
a large bath room, with hot salty water shower, and (again) flowers spreaded towels ;)
ka artha and me, we looked at each other and said: "we should have come with our husbands for a honeymoon!!!" hahaha. we had to face the fact that us, two girls, we shared the room, and the bed, and the shower, LOL =) joking ka, i enjoyed your company ko' hihi ;)

stayed at the beach til' the evening came, had a swim both at the beach and the hotel's super cool pool. enjoyed their pasta and cocktail... planned to see a bit of nite life in the "party island", but we were too tired that at 10pm we fell asleep, haha, a very failed dugem attempt!

next morning, we got up early to experience the sun rise. the sun should come from the edge of the neighboring island:gili meno. but the clouds hided it :( hmm we got to shoot some nice pics though. maen aer again at the beach, had a swim again in the hotel pool, packed up cos' before noon we headed to gili meno to snorkle. i tried to snorkle for the 1st time by the beach, but didn't have the gut to try it in the sea. the others tried it but not for long since the current was too strong. so we headed back to senggigi in lombok. the weather wasn't good, it was raining, heavily, all of us went wet inside our tiny boat. our attempt to "not-to-miss-senggigi sunset" failed, it rained. but compensated by nice dinner at cafe alberto. my meal wasn't too ok cos' the taglialatella was over-cooked :( but the others' were fine i believe.

so here i am, after 4am morning call, 5am lion air check-in, 4 fuxxin hours transit in juanda airport, feeling a bit unwell and dissapointed (persib lost their game again and again and again but i love them still he2). but lombok vacation was a blast =) thanks to kakaku, ita and dheny for being such fun travel compagnions ;)

ps: bravo tomahawkers for having conquered two peaks (gede and pangrango)
