from a rockin' mother
i received an e-mail from a ticket box provider that Angels & Airwaves is coming to jakarta next month!
in a second i called my husband to ask his permission if i could reserve 2 tickets with early birds price (100k rups less!).
i knew it, he's not really into their music but i alreally had a back-up plan: ask my lil bro to accompany his 5 months preggie sist :) he said ok then, you can go.
in parallel, i exchanged messages with fellow balikpapan friend who's also their biggest fan for his opinion, "what would it be if a pregnant woman watches a rock concert in jakarta?".
i've been to some rock concerts but not in jakarta. some don't really have seats (all standing) which is not really favorable for me.
i checked the EO, and they confirmed that there will be seats.
ok, back to my balikpapan friend, he told me: "i think there won't be any riots, it's not cheap anyway (btw, he's been to incubus concert in jakarta last year), so i think it will be safe for you. one thing, poor baby of you, he's got to learn to rock (even since inside your tummy)!" hehehehe...
aaaaah, but finally i decided i won't go. on his second thought, my husband didn' allow me to. i will be 6 months pregnant, and he's afraid that i will be too tired after the concert and no good for me and the baby. he's got a point.
so, bebe, you miss your first rock concert huh? it's ok, you still have yearssss to come to find out how cool the music really is ;)
(God, please don't turn me into one of those obsessed parents trying to doctrin their children with what cool is.. they can find it out by themselves.. me, well, i'm just showing them what cool is, and let them decide in the end...huahahahaha)
