Pilar is common spanish/portuguese name. First time I knew it, it was my collegue's daughter name. I fell in love ever since. We didn't directly decide the name. We also loved Arezki as firstname.

Arezki, is taken from God's names (Asmaul Husna), Ar-Razk (or wealth giver), is a common north african name (marocco, tunisia, algeria). It has double meaning for us. First, him as a gift from God; Second, we pray that he will one day become also a wealth giver to his surrounding. Amin.

It was only one day or 2 days before his birth, we finally decided bebe's name. With all the heart weaking situation, we believed Pilar will make such a terrific first name, followed by Arezki as second name, and Avicenna, as Family name.

Pilar, you have shown us what strength, force, patience, and faith are. When mommy cried cause mommy got lost and didn't exactly know what to do, you were there, you kept struggling and kept the faith to meet us, your parents, soon.

And there you are, my Pilar, strong, clever, smiley, healthy boy. Mommy is still weak, but your presence has brought millions more power to us, millions more faith to us... from before you were born, until forever.
