3 days from being an 8 months old little boy
pilar is almost 8 months old now, how fast.. sometimes i miss the moment when he was still a baby, petit and calm. now he moves a lot, grabs anything new, so determined to get what he wants, ... (how can't we adult be like him at all time? hehe).
he's eating rice porridge now, with minced beef meat, carrots, chicken liver, something new. when he reaches 8 months, i will add another new menu for him: more and more veggies (since his digestive system is supposed to be ready now), minced chicken meat, perhaps fish (still searching which type of fish safe enough to be introduced to babies), oat, and...this one is mommy's favorite: yoghurt :)
so far, pilar likes soury fruit like apple..huhuuuu can't wait to see his reaction after eating yoghurt :) but above all, hope he won't get any allergic reaction due to his meal. amiiin.
some motoric improvement: he now can sit still, he's still in the sthrive to crawl (already lift his body but apparently it's still too heavy for him), crawl backward sometimes, he can jump from sitting position to crawl position, his feet starts to be strong enough to support his weight.. he can grab something for long time..then move the thing to the other hand, vice versa.
he enjoys observing (always does) stuffs...he knows to express his feeling better now. yell, making faces, smile, move his head, yawn. i rarely hear him cry now, only when he's with "strangers" and at night when he's searching for his mommy's milk :) ahh, another thing, i think he wants breastfeeding time as his privacy. easily disturbed by other people around him except his mom, even if it's his nanny or daddy. he wants it to be just him and me :) so cute isn't it? 8 months old wants a privacy :)
o ya, he went to baby school 'gymboree' once and he seemed to enjoying it, smiled a lot. after the school, he also smiles or laughs whenever we sing to him "gymbo, gymbo, gymboo.." :) we should continue i think.
