on my 2nd dawn of this 4 days vacation
Frustrated, my laptop refused to start..i later found out that dell charger cant be used for hp laptops. S*it, i should've brought mine from the office instead of hijacking hubby's charger...
Some deadlines are in front of my eyes, no where to escape, i'll just have to face them. I was so in the mood to work on them,...til the laptop shut down. Perhaps it wanted to say,"back-off girl, it's v-a-c-a-t-i-o-n!"
I'll probably pass by the office tomorrow just to grab this meyjik charger of mine..
Back to "vacation" story, we decided not to go anywhere outside jakarta. One foremost important reason is that we'll be having interview with pilar's future headmaster on monday. Hope it'll run well.
First day was great. Some grocery shopping plus hubby's haircut plus we bought this book of ligwina at gramedia. All done in the nearest shopping mall from our place, the most famous pejaten village off-course :)
Cooked for lunch and watched my baby sleeping afterwards. Pilar was sleeping for about 2 hrs, where hubby got the chance to read like 2 third of the newly bought book and we got to discuss how our family financial plan runs compared to what the book says..it was nice :)
Had a play date with pilar's cousin sophia in new playground called "giggle" in fx mall. The place was nice, totally loved it. Clean, large, not crowded (yet). And there's a water play where pilar was enjoying his time the most there, refused to go home :)
We dined at pancious plaza indonesia. The initial plan was to get duncan sheik concert tickets in hard rock cafe, but when hubby found out that the gate will open at 9pm, and the show will probably start amost midnite, he simply dropped off the whole idea :(
A bit dissapointed cause duncan was one of my college dream hunks (read my previous post on how i loved college rock that era!) Hehehe..
but seeing my boy ate almost half of my fettucini carbonara plate, plus 4 big slices caramel banana, plus half glass of fruit tea cocktail, without any refusal, just happily eat...really really really made my day! Thanks kiddo!
So no regret, lets plan some more fun stuffs for the remaining 3 days, get my charger so i can work on this carry-over deadlines..
It can be fun mixing work and pleasure!
Now, back to bachelorette 3rd episode :D
