my father, my pacer

Bapak apparently has been running faster! On last race, his pace was 5min/km. Even though he's ranked 75th, he's way faster than hundreds of other male runners a lot younger than him (y compris my husband, lol). As planned, we had a nice morning run in singapore last week. Husband's not feeling very well so it was just me and Bapak. I was - most of the time - running in "Bapak chasing" mode as he was running faster than me. So he is now my pacer. If only you lived in Jakarta, we'd be running together, as often as we can ya Bapak :)

My last race result was 50 minutes for 8.5k, ranked 17th. The podium went to Triyaningsih SEA games gold medalist and kenyan runners. Happy to reach racing pace below 6min/km!
