What happened since last post?

Pilar nailed his field trip just fine. No tears, no phone call…we just received update email from the school once a day. He returns with many stories: on how he shared the room with his 2 other friends, how he changed clothes by himself with no single help from his teacher, how they had fun in the farm milking the goat and made cheese, how he fell at the play ground and hurt his hand, what meals he ate, how his teacher read him the tintin flight 714 to Sydney comic (his favorite!) before bed and sang them a wake-up song in the morning, and that he woke up the earliest on the first day but the least on the second 😁

I’m a proud mama.

He was as well graduated from KG and will soon be a 1st grader in September ☺ a small graduation celebration at school where children sang 2 songs and received their “diploma” from the principal. Said bye to a couple of friends who will be leaving Paris this summer while having their last play date at a park nearby before vacation. 2 months of vacation by the way 😊

Iris started to walk just two weeks after her first birthday and teeth are coming at about the same time (4 of them!). so she’s just walking everywhere in the apartment, checking her mom cooking in the kitchen, checking his brother playing lego or ipad, checking her stroller parked in the foyer, trying her mom’s shoes also at the foyer, just checking here, there, and everywhere J she knows mama, papa, baba, mamam, dada (kakak), and trying to set a conversation by using her own words (her father seems to speak the same language as he interprets them quite well!).

She had ears infection which was quite bad (fever for 5 days and a para-synthesis by ORL specialist), lost some weight but regained after. She has quite a good appetite and eat whatever food served (or even not served!).
