Mommy just can't help it (happy 2009!)

Ok ok i learned that we don't buy baby stuff before 7 months pregnant. That's what people say. I read once, the reason behind this is with old medical technology, baby's sex could only be found out on 7th month pregnancy. To avoid buying stuffs mistakenly, our seniors recommend us to be patient :) Well, another reason - this is just my interpretation ya - is that we should be patient, do more surveys prior to buying stuffs, and once we've done enough investigation, we can start buying them (with best option, best price, etc...). Another good thing of postponing baby-shopping is you'll be forced to walk a lot in the end of your pregancy (walking in the malls, in the stores, etc) and it's good for your laboring process. Well, just my 2 cents, and i simply can't help it :))))))))))

It's true that for some "heavy duty" stuffs, we will make necessary investigation. This includes: stroller, crib, car seat, carrier, .... I am keen enough to be patient. But for clothes...? especially during xmas time where you have sales everywhere...? my oh my, my shopping adrenaline is rushed, and i finally bought some clothes for bebe, cute ones off-course :) Anyway, at first i tried to be wise. I chose neutral colors over blue ones. But during my 2nd shopping rush... with buy 2 get 3 offer, i gave up and picked some blue clothings as well. huhuhuuu bebe, mommy hopes you'll like them all :)

I just now bought myself an electric breast pump. I've done weeks and weeks of survey, and the price keeps getting higher and higher...pfhhhhh. I'm quite pessimistic that there will be a price chute next year, that's why i decided to but it with a still reasonable price.

See? It's not just my adrenaline woking there, i still use some thoughts though. hahaha, another justification :)

Aaaaaany way, it's good to start your 6 days vacation when you've passed some critical point at work... especially during year end. We'll have a visit from nini, uwa, mang ade, a qistan and have a good time together in jakarta. bebe will see the doctor this week-end and mommy hopes nini will join this visit as well :) daddy is busy busy busy with whole new system to be settled in his office but he'll try to finish on 26, so 27-30 he'll stick with us :) aki is also busy with work, but hopefully he can join us. waiting good news from auntie na and bunda amer...hope we can meet this week as well :) and sending warm wishes to everyone we know...Enjoy your holiday and have a happy new year 2009!
