Greetings from Balikpapan

here I am, blogging from my hotel room. email checkings done, work phone calls + chats done, what else to do while waiting for my friend to pick me up for a dinner but blogging? :)

i remember staying in this hotel like 8 years ago. it was during my interviews with balikpapan users. they were the ones who decided to send me to france first for my master degree prior to working.

here i am 8 years later, finished my master degree, worked here in balikpapan for over 2 years, still comes here quite regularly even though i've moved to jakarta office.

one said, once you taste mahakam water, you'll always be coming back. it's probably true :)
