The not that interesting part

on living a new kind of life and leaving your comfort zone.

4 months and we're still not there yet. There means finding a new balance or rythm which works for all of us. I'm still unorganized, husband's still not that devoted to house chores, pilar's still not independent enough. We all struggle though.

So if the image of living abroad means to travel til drop and post pretty images on social media..eat that image and face the reality: prepare meal (for adults and baby!), dishes, laundry (please dont even mention ironing!), keep the house livable (cause clean and neat are never the case), all the fights when we get tired of those routines and simply wants a 10 minutes break. Me time? You ask what??

I had this image before leaving Jakarta. My best friends had similar situation and one of their advice is to find your own balance and you will end up fine.

Well, we're not there yet. Hoping we will, soon enough :)
