April issues are always the same. Appraisal result, merit increase, bonus, promotion, etc.
People who get them right are all smiling and being quite, the vice versa are shouting and asking for back-ups.
Where do I stand?
As much as I’m disappointed with April 2011, I think the best way is to deliver the message to the hierarchy, which I already did.
I’m kind of sick of people whose days are filled with whining, on how hard they have to work, and how small they’re getting in return.
It’s pathetic and ungrateful.
Have they looked around, I mean spherically? Not just other top competitors but other industry, other people who also work as hard as them or even harder and getting not even half of their income.
There are means to channel your disappointment, not just by whining around. If you’re still unhappy, just quit and find other job. Spreading negativity to your surroundings won’t help you much.
And to make a wrap to this post, these people are everywhere man!
