it's supposed to be a post from 2 weeks behind :)
just got back from our 3 days vacation to bandung. it was awesome! pilar couldn't stop calling "aki, aki" each time he played. even mama and papa weren't at his preference. he came back to me when he's tired and wanted to sleep. LOL.
this time, we asked teteh and mbak to come along. it's not their first time but at least we wanna share this vacation with them.
not so much of agenda, culinary visit is offcourse in our no.1 list, strolling and morning jog in itb campus came at 2nd, and just strolling around bandung, my home town, and also home for hubby during 8 years of his life.
luckily traffic was at our side, got a bit stucked several kilometers in the toll road due to an accident on our way to bandung and back to jakarta. but the rest was nice. even inside the town.
first culinary visit was to atmosphere. the ambiance is still nice, with live music performance playing hits from 80-90. pilar was dancing in front of the stage :) the food was great, as always. and aki, as always, isn't a big fan of european food so his impression was "biasa aja". LOL.
second was tengku angkasa gado-gado. a big portion of very gurih saus kacang gado-gado. we're a fan!
third was wale aka warung lela. hubby loved the place and the decoration. it was our first time actually. the food was okay, it's a warung bakmi afterall, you couldn't expect more than a bakmi :) but aki, this time, enjoyed the place due to its traditional tea. LOL again.
what can i say, bandung is always bandung. my very home town. nothing beats it.
