My boy and the basket ball

Ever since he watched one barney episode with basket ball in it, my boy didn’t stop to ask for a basket ball. I kept telling him, “ask your dad” and the father kept telling “we’ll get you one soon”. It’s been months and we couldn’t find him a basket ball (+ the ring). We did, however, a survey in some toy store and online but still couldn’t make up our mind on which type to buy..until finally ELC got its summer sale yesterday so I decided to get him a set of basket ball + the ring + the romper. Yayyy!

We got home a bit late, around 8 PM and the kid was asleep. He usually sleeps a bit later at 9.30 PM. I whispered him “papa beliin pilar bola basket nih” and somehow he was distracted and woke up :)

He was glad, to the max. he wore the romper and started to play basket ball until 10.30 PM. We were all tired. I said to him “Bobo yuk. Udah malem. Ntar pilar mimpiin main bola basket lagi ya”. Pilar agreed “iya ma, pilar ngantuk. Mau bobo”.

When I told him to open the romper, he declined. He even hugged the ball til he fell asleep :) yes, the basket ball player was sleeping with the romper on and the ball beside him.

The next morning, he woke up early at 5.30 AM. as soon as he got off the bed, he was looking for the ball and again played some basket ball game :)
