I need to remember today. Around 930 this morning, miss Amelia, Pilar’s teacher at school messaged me that there was an incident happened to Pilar. A friend of him bumped the kid on his head which caused an inflammation. As part of school procedure, any accident involving vital organ has to be followed-up by a thorough check in the hospital. I was preparing to chair a meeting and had to excuse myself to my boss. He then took over the meeting for me. So thank you boss. In the car, the teacher updated me his condition, along with the doctor’s observation. She stayed next to him in the ER the whole time. Thank you miss Amel. I got in the hospital around 40 minutes after, went directly to ER and found both the kid and his teacher chatting to each other. The kid was smiling as if nothing bad have happened. The doctor also said there’s nothing serious, just need to keep him in observation for the next 24 hours. I was relieved. Thank you God. In the hospital, while waiting for the dismissal process, I discussed with miss Amel and she told me all the good things about the kid. How he’s been so active and absorbs quickly the lessons at school. How he’s been a leader to his friends, especially when it comes to “play time” :) The word “active” also means that when it comes to activity time, he sometimes can’t force himself to stay still within his group and finish a task. We need to work in this, kid, but thank you for being you. Before leaving for home, the kid hugged his teacher tightly and said bye. I am so touched. I suddenly felt warm and assured that he’s doing well at school, that a nice person is taking a good care of him there. Thank You for the blessings today.
