THE event of the month
1 march 2011, pilar turned 2 years old. We celebrated his birthday at our house on Saturday, 12 March 2011, along with his father’s birthday, and house warming for our family and friends.
Up to D-1 we didn’t have clue on the number of guests. What worried us the most is the parking lot, there isn’t plenty of them. So we just keep our finger crossed, hoping that the crowd will be there, and so the parking lot. LOL.
Me, as usual, I didn’t have much time to organize his birthday and finally decided NOT to hire event organizer cause I thought I didn’t want a make a huge party after all. Well, I must say that the event was running quite well, except for the weather who decided to be so unfriendly HOT that day. Poor adults seated outdoor while babies are kids have the privilege to play inside the house.
As much as we’re happy that guests (specially this kids) were having fun that day, this “party” thing is to share our joy of our most precious blessing from God: Pilar, a happy and healthy boy, with our family (yes, both bandung and jambi grandparents were present) and friends.
It’s not something annual and ‘a must do’ thing each year. I believe there are so many other ways to celebrate a birthday rather than a party.
Heck, why not vacation just the three of us next year? It’ll cost more or less the same. LOL.
Pilar, you’ll also say yes to my proposition, won’t ya? :D
