Both hubby and me feel a bit bored and extremely tired lately (Gosh, it’s only april!). I was pessimistic when telling him this vacation idea but he surprisingly agreed with my proposition. Guess we’re equally tired with work :)
It’s a tough decision cause in the same time we’re also doing a self financial check and well…it’s a la limite, a french say. We can do it, but we must be discipline with our budget.
As Pilar is still a toddie, we wanna make sure that the destination is kid friendly. For now, let’s forget the idea on doing road trips. We’d better wait until he gets a bit older so he could enjoy the trip more.
The choice is Singapore. Simply because it is not too far away, it has lotsa kid friendly attractions, and it’s still within our budget (note: with low budget airline and mid class hotel for sure).
I’ve always wanted to visit this country simply by curiosity. I cannot count how many times doing transit in Changi airport, but never once I step my foot on this merlion country :D I think this one time vacation would be enough for me.
Off course the main agenda will be sightseeing around Singapore and universal studio. Though I’m not so sure that Pilar can enjoy many attractions there cause it’s not Disneyland after all (yeah, nothing beats euro Disney…yet!). some places are already on the list, but I’m too busy to make itinerary :( we’ll see how it goes.
This will be “THE” vacation of the year, so let’s skip the idea of bringing along my men on my next biz trip this year. LOL.
