Bapak narcis no.1 di Indonesia

siang tadi kantor datengin bapak motivator no.1 di Indonesia, namanya Andrie Wongso*. awalnya ga gitu tertarik untuk hadir.

kenapa mi? udah ngerasa termotivasi bgt ya? kalo diiming2i makan siang aja baru mau dateng =)

tapi setelah selesai nyimak dr awal sampai akhir, gue ngerasa ga ada ruginya bgt dengerin dia. semua yg dia sampaikan, benar adanya. dan gue sampai ke satu point bahwa gue harus memperkaya mental** gue =)

*Andrie Wongso adalah pendiri dan pemilik Harvest (percetakan kartu2 ucapan di Indonesia). SD ga tamat, sempet jadi pelayan toko di Jakarta, salesman, sampai bintang film di Hongkong pun dia jabanin. Current profession:Motivator =)

** Kaya mental: disiplin, positive thinking, hemat, tidak mudah putus asa, tidak mengeluh, bertanggung jawab, if better is possible good is not enough...
singkatnya, semua kata sifat yg berimplikasi perbuatan2 yang dianjurkan oleh Tuhan. dan miskin mental berarti sebaliknya.

(BUKAN) catatan perjalanan

just got back to my room. this vacation has given me: not only several scarces and bruises on my leg, but also unforgettable memories and experience.

first, the scarces and bruises came from my "stupid doesn't play" (bego bukan main, ka artha's most favorite sentence ;) ). i stepped on a boat rope tied to a near-by tree while the boat was actually moving. so it kinda rubbed my leg and left some "traces" on it.
i got the bruise on my knee by a stone as we were walking in a stony river towards the sendang gila waterfall.

despite of all those, i had a total fun. this vacation was meant to be a tranquil and relaxing vacation. but it turned out to be a quite sporty one. hehe =)
1st day we had a "standard" lombok trip: taliwang irama resto, banyumulek (potteries), sukarare (tenun), and kuta beach. always been in love to this beach since the 1st time i went there on 2004.

2nd day, the "so called" soft treking to senaru rinjani. the treking itself took about 2 hours. and the most interesting part would be: every body!!! get wet under the waterfall!!!
you'd forget that you're no longer 10 years old! hehe =)

next destination: gili trawangan
by a chartered boat and cidomo (a.k.a. delman) we arrived at our hotel: Villa Almarik, totally recommended to all of you. quite pricy but worths it. the italian owner welcomed us with welcome drinks, explained the hotel facilities, etc... wait til i tell how our room looked like...

at least 60 m2 surface-natural stones decorated bungalow, a large bed room with a large double bed, and a "window bed" with comfy pillows, with flowers spreaded on them...
a large bath room, with hot salty water shower, and (again) flowers spreaded towels ;)
ka artha and me, we looked at each other and said: "we should have come with our husbands for a honeymoon!!!" hahaha. we had to face the fact that us, two girls, we shared the room, and the bed, and the shower, LOL =) joking ka, i enjoyed your company ko' hihi ;)

stayed at the beach til' the evening came, had a swim both at the beach and the hotel's super cool pool. enjoyed their pasta and cocktail... planned to see a bit of nite life in the "party island", but we were too tired that at 10pm we fell asleep, haha, a very failed dugem attempt!

next morning, we got up early to experience the sun rise. the sun should come from the edge of the neighboring island:gili meno. but the clouds hided it :( hmm we got to shoot some nice pics though. maen aer again at the beach, had a swim again in the hotel pool, packed up cos' before noon we headed to gili meno to snorkle. i tried to snorkle for the 1st time by the beach, but didn't have the gut to try it in the sea. the others tried it but not for long since the current was too strong. so we headed back to senggigi in lombok. the weather wasn't good, it was raining, heavily, all of us went wet inside our tiny boat. our attempt to "not-to-miss-senggigi sunset" failed, it rained. but compensated by nice dinner at cafe alberto. my meal wasn't too ok cos' the taglialatella was over-cooked :( but the others' were fine i believe.

so here i am, after 4am morning call, 5am lion air check-in, 4 fuxxin hours transit in juanda airport, feeling a bit unwell and dissapointed (persib lost their game again and again and again but i love them still he2). but lombok vacation was a blast =) thanks to kakaku, ita and dheny for being such fun travel compagnions ;)

ps: bravo tomahawkers for having conquered two peaks (gede and pangrango)

temanku yg satu ini beserta teman2ku yg lain barusan pamit mau ekspedisi gede pangrango. selamat jalan kawan2, have a SAFE and FUN hiking!

week-end kemaren (treking teritip-lamaru-manggar dan accoustic concert) sebenernya worths a story to tell di blog ini, tapi lagi males nulis euy!

besok mau ke lombok with kakaku, ita, dan dheny. ke"not-so-in-the-mood"nya beberapa temanku hari ini tiba2 nular. ada apa ini? c'mon mia, white powdery sand, blue ocean, coconut trees...wake up!!!

dan langit balikpapan pun terlihat lebih biru dari biasanya...

*half time

from the moment i woke up at 2.30AM, then changed the channel to espn, and watching the opening ceremony (together with the champion's league hymne), my heart trembled already (he2 hiperbola yee). i felt a bit melancholic when i saw stade de france, the supporters, the moment when the players entered the stadium. oh how i miss all that! i can't deny the feeling "i wish i were there" kind of thing came up to me.

then let the game begin messiours!

i will not detail each and every moment of the game. some of them probably won't last for long time in my head. but i did enjoy every manouver they made. their skill (dribbling, passing, shooting, etc...), their fighting spirit, every emotion that came up whenever there was a fault, a shoot-on-goal, a corner kick (i don't think they had one during 1st half), a free kick - that could lead to a goal - (henry's assist to campbell), and the climax would be...a goal.
by looking at the joyful faces of the players, the coach, and fanatic supporters ;) or in the contrary, dissapointed faces of the opposite team, i share the same emotion with them, from here, thousand miles away from them.

*2nd half
dunno why, by discarding the 2 goals from barca, i found that 2nd half is more boring than the 1st one. several unnecessary faults, over-acting players, protests. arsenal with no fighting spirit after the 1-2 stand. so by the time the referee blew the whistle, my emotion was not as thrilled as the 1st half. due to the snowy rain? he2...

after the trophy award, i saw an interview with henry, and got dissapointed by his statements. i quote some of them:
- the referee doesn't want us to win from the beginning of the match
i do agree that there were some unfair decisions, but your statement is not very elegant, and coming from a world class player like you?hmm..
- i got tackled from behind several times but i'm not a woman so i stood up
again, not a very clever phrase you have there.
-i didnt's see any ronaldinho, everyone keeps saying ronaldinho. i didn't see any eto'o.
are you upset that the world best player went to ronaldinho? ok, he didn't play well tonite, but i don't care! nobody plays 100% at all time, not even you! and eto'o, at least he scored one, you? not even a half.

the only statement that came from his mouth and i agree with him, was that the man of the match should be larsson, with his 2 assists, he deserves it. bravo larsson!

audition anyone?

pdhal latihan br senin malam, hari selasa malam (dlm waktu 24 jam) udah ada perkusi yg bagus bgt
dan penampilan yg kompak.... Firdaus malah aku datang, main dan menang ..

he2. begitulah kesan dan pesan dari motornya grup band nekat DKS setelah audisi tadi malem untuk tampil di accoustic nite minggu besok. ini nih salah satu yg bikin gue mulai (underlined:mulai!) kerasan di balikpapan. kegiatan ekskulnya yg beragam, menarik, dan hidup!

anyway, dari audisi semalem, pas kita nunggu giliran ada performer lain yg lagi audisi. suaranya itu lho...bikin kita2 yg amatir2 ini sedikit ngeper :D tapi once we auditionned, and everyone said it was ok, i gained a bit of confidence, huehehe...as if, ngaruh ya kalo kita lolos ato ngga? buat gue, yg bikin gue seneng from this whole thing is: ngumpul brg, gitar2an dan nyanyi2 brg, ngocol brg, ...hehe just like the old times =)

so, accoustic nite, here we come!

butuh cerebrovit?

di perjalanan menuju tenggarong kmaren pagi, may menyimpulkan kalo kita udah butuh cerebrovit. kenapa? may udah lupa nama putri tenggarong*, padahal waktu kita kesana ga nyampe 2 bulan yg lalu, saudari may ini lah yg nyeritain secara lengkap sejarah kesultanan kutai kartanegara, lengkap beserta nama tokoh2 pentingnya. dan gue, gue lupa nama cemetary** tempat dikuburkannya jim morrison di paris, asked by yanti (padahal 2 1/2 bulan yg lalu diriku masih penduduk parrrri hehe).

anyway, it was a nice trip to tenggarong and samarinda yesterday. makasih yanti buat undangannya. kalo ngga, ga mungkin kita bisa foto2 di mimbar tempat bupati tenggarong mimpin rapat dan upacara, hehe ;)

just received my nephew's pictures. mungkin besok2 dipajang di blognya si aa.

welcome back to balikpapan

ca y est, recup selama hampir 10 hari selesai sudah. ditutup dengan acara maen2 ke kampus, makan baso gudang utara, dan FO visit bareng neng indri, trus makan malam bareng keluarga di ikan bakar cianjur.

yang paling berkesan selama recup ini adalah bagian maen2 ama qistan. that baby is becoming cuter and cuter each day, dan semakin mirip kaka guwe (not saying that my brother is cute haha...peace a!). dan tentu saja kumpul2 dgn keluarga is something very rare these days. ya iyalah, ortu di bandung, aa dan ade di jakarta, sedang guwe all alone di balikpapan.

masih jetlag, belum tuned-in, and the funny thing is: di saat2 akhir recup, ko guwe merasa pengen cepet2 balik ke balikpapan ya? jangan-jangan...
