je voulais simplement dire que tu me manques grave!!!

Alhamdulillah, nyampe di bandung dengan selamat hari sabtu kemarin, setelah perjalanan mudik lewat darat selama 6 jam (ga kurang) dari cengkareng hingga bandung, 5 jam dari cengkareng sampe karawang doang. what?? yup, jumat malem adalah hari terakhir kerja sebelum orang2 mudik manfaatin cuti bersama (termasuk gue). yg ada, sepanjang tol dari slipi up to karawang, jalanan macet total. yg parah lagi, pas waktu sahur pengennya cari makan di area57, ternyata semua makanan abis diborong orang2 yg sama2 kejebak macet. akhirnya kami sahur dengan makanan kecil yg masih tersisa di salah satu warung. lepas karawang, cuma butuh waktu sejam buat nyampe rumah. baru kali ini gue ngerasain yg namanya macet gara2 mudik. bener2 dibutuhkan kesabaran ekstra, terutama buat yg nyetir ;P

sabar...hm, intriguing. baru baca salah satu artikel di tabloid langganan nyokap gue. ga berhubungan langsung dengan kesabaran sih, tapi somehow gue perlu banyak melatih salah satu kekurangan gue itu: lack of patience. intinya sih pernah gue singgung di salah satu posting gue, terinspirasi dari tulisannya ena, which is: i'm the one who has a total responsibility over myself. since i'm the one who knows myself better than anyone else, i should be aware of things that could bring me down as well as of things that can bring me back up. so each time i'm feeling a bit blue, i shall not count on someone else to bring back the joy to my heart, or worse i shall not blame anyone for it. find things to cure, from inside or outside of me, without having to drag other people in. easy example: writing this posting ;) or watching serie a between as roma and chievo, or singing outloud, or updating my friendster's photos, or helping my mom making ketupat-gule-opor-rendang-sambel goreng ati-rujak, or helping my dad washing the car, or go to bed ;) hehe. hm, and it certainly takes a lot of patience. especially for a selfish egoist self centered creature like me :)

eeeeeniweeeeiiiiii, senang sekali bisa kembali ke bandung (back to bahasa mode). kembali belanja ke pasar toha (udah ga inget kapan terakhir gue belanja di sana). ketemuan dan buka bareng ama temen2 smp, walopun beberapa ga bisa dateng. ketemuan qistan dan sodara2. bsm shopping bareng nyokap. test-drive chevrolet troopernya si bapa yg super guede. lewatin jalanan2 bandung yg semakin sumpek dan macet tapi selalu ngangenin dan penuh cerita.hehe.
asik asik bentar lagi lebaran euy :)

selamat idul fitri bagi teman2 yg merayakan,

finally and hopefully, bisa lebaran di bandung lagi after 3 years...

kemaren ceritanya gue ama bujes pengen buka di luar, terakhir di balikpapan sebelum kita sama2 mudik week-end ini. setelah perdebatan yg seru dan pemikiran yg panjang (he2), akhirnya pilihan jatuh ke, ga jauh2, pacifica bc. bc lagi.. bc lagi.. :)

pasukan bertambah secara didi mau ikutan juga. asiiik, ibu2 from the same age, makan bareng, ngerumpi bareng, dan belanja bareng eventually (tak terelakkan itu mah haha).

dengan sadis kami milih menu buka malam ini. mulai dari nasi gudeg, bakwan campur, kangkung asap, siomay basah, sampai es campur. kita sampe liat2an dan terkagum2 dengan banyaknya makanan yg kita pesen. obrolan kami ga jauh2 dari acara mudik ntar, belanja oleh2, dan tentu topik utama: cowo ^_^ huehehe

bujes yg sebelumnya males muter2 dan pengen langsung pulang, setelah didoping pake kangkung asap kayanya jadi yg paling heboh belanjanya tadi malem ;) (peace Bu!). dimulai dengan acara nyari2 baju buat mertuanya didi (ga dapet akhirnya), trus nyari2 baju buat kami sendiri (bujes dapet satu stel baju yg cantik dan modis buat jalan2 pas lebaran), dan yg pamungkas dan paling seru adalah acara ngubek2 kawasan lingerie dengan komentar2 kita yg gelo dan kocak abisss. Contohnya, betapa si bujes terheran2 liat super size slip warna hejo dan komentar siapa gerangan yg mau dan pake celana kaya begini?! trus dia liat2in ke kita sambil ditarik2 karetnya (maafkan ketidaksopanan kami ya Mba pramuniaga). gue komentarin,"Bu, awas ya kalo 30 tahun lagi dr sekarang gue nemuin elu di matahari lagi milih2 celana yg sama secara yg laen ga ada lagi yg muat!!" hahaha dan kami pun ketawa bareng. masih banyak lagi celetukan2 gila tadi malem sampe akhirnya kita harus pulang (bc dah mau tutup boo).

rencana mau beli amplang malem tadi pun buyar. it's ok, masih ada hari ini dan besok sebelum.. sebelum:

last week-end was actually a lot of fun. started by an unplanned dinner in sederhana, by the time we got there, met some friends, and a friend paid for the whole dinner. not bad ;)

the next day, after giving my house a total clean-up, we had a trip to samarinda. two girls, out on the road, had 4 hours chit chat in the car, talked bout anything, ...

watched a movie "lady under water" in the cinema, dinner with bakso (so girly hehe), small shopping, and cd search in disc tara. guess what she found! Wilson Phillips' HOLD ON!!! old time favorite ;) we were much inspired by the movie Harold&Kumar where they sang the song passionately inside their car. And that's what we actually did after, on our way back to balikpapan, my turn to drive. Again, two girls, hmm two crazy girls, singing songs from the 90's, and as it was getting late, dark, the conversation became less and less important, booing the selfish and careless driver in front of us, still singing songs from the 90's hehe..

conclusion: we did enjoy the trip much.

sunday, gloomy sunday. it rained a bit in the morning, i continued my week-end rituals: clean anything that needs to be cleaned. gathered some motivation to go to the near-by market to buy stuffs for my perkedel jagung preparation, after 2 pm. had a cook, and fell asleep on the couch til i realized i had to wash my car and i hadn't had a shower!!
another picnic at her place, while watching mathew mcfayden, enjoying my perkedel, her sayur buncis, plus ayam penyet bought from a warung near-by. quite a cool way to end the week-end. thanks a lot bu! ;)

and this morning, got up late, headache, bad mood, angry boss. not so much for a monday morning.

i really need to terminate these emotional problems of mine..

Ok, i go home mostly at 9pm lately. I know those who are worse, yet they don't complain. I totally realize that life isn't just about working, but for now let me enjoy the feeling of being satisfied when my work is done, when i find out something new and interesting from what i've been working on, when the next morning in the office i go to my boss' room and show him the results and not tell him i haven't finished them, when i little by little start to have a grip on what i'm doing, when the discussions start to make sense, and when i simply feel good about my job. Something which i hadn't really experienced during my first days here, 7 months ago.

Many thanks to my family, my friends, and my cheri for your understanding, concern, and support. Another week before lebaran vacation in Bandung to see you all! Til' then, let me finish these tons of documents for the japanese ;)

punya hobi baru: stay at home, bersih2, beres2, masak2. quite time consuming dan melelahkah, tapi fun :)

barang2 utama insya Allah dah lengkap, nakas buat di kamar tidur baru aja dateng minggu lalu. lampu meja cantik hadiah ultah dari neng indri + ari udah bisa dipajang di atasnya. meja untuk ngeracik makanan di dapur baru dateng.

masak2 perdana dengan menu pempek manfaatin bumbu cuka special dari jambi ;) dengan ngundang Bujes sebagai tester, sukses digelar week-end kemaren (sukses ga sih Bu?) hehe.. next, kita coba2 menu2 pasundan ya Bu? ;)

kalo mau belanja juga praktis, rumah deket dengan pasar tradisional, tinggal jalan kaki 10 menit, pulangnya kalo bawaan banyak tinggal manggil ojek ;)

masih ada pekerjaan sisa yg sampe sekarang belom sempet dilakuin: masang2in frame di ruang tamu dan ruang tidur. udah dicobain sih, tapi gagal, salah milih paku (yg ulir i/o paku tembok biasa). Like my Dad said to me once:"ko elu jadi ga tangkas gini Mi?" hehe losing my masculin touch i guess?? ;) i'll try again tonite, wish me luck everyone!

apalagi ya yg kurang? oya sekalian iklan, pengen bgt punya wok gede dr bahan teflon, kukusan, magic jar, oven buat bikin kue, ... hehe, siapa mau ngasi kado ultah lagi? ;)
