On 20 weeks pregnancy

Kami mengadakan pengajian Tasyakur binikmat kehamilan kedua di rumah Aki Nenek di Bandung. Acaranya hanya mengundang teman2 pengajian nenek di sekitar rumah; dimulai dengan pembacaan ayat Qur'an, pembahasan materi mengenai konsep kehamilan dan ayat2 yang menerangkan terjadinya manusia oleh Ustadzah, lalu ditutup dengan mengaji bersama. Alhamdulillah lancar, semoga seterusnya demikian ya :)

Baby2 on the go (part 2)

De retour de Paris. Baby2 and i both were doing fine during the flight and our stay in freezing paris. I intentionally took the aisle seat in the plane to cope with my regular visit to the toilet. I also picked a hotel at 200m from the venue; not to mention, the complete winter attire was all being prepared prior to our departure. So a part from the jetlag, we nailed the trip.

And oh, i started to feel baby2 big move during our stay there :)

Today, we have reached the 19th weeks together. Stay strong, stay healthy to both of us!

I have 2 nights left to spend and to profit in this city of light. Despite the great food, the old friends meet ups and warm conversations, the freezing winter, and interesting training subject, i am longing to be back. See you soon mon grand. Tu me manques.

2013

Looking back 2013, unlike the year before, i feel much better. I managed to get home earlier (6-7pm) or at least tried to. Who can predict jakarta traffic, right?
Even problems at work won't seem to lessen, but generally speaking my workload did and i got to experience managing a project in a whole larger perspective instead of dealing with small details.
So having 2-3 hours with the kid at home at night, especially when he is now getting smarter and asking all kinds of question is really something i'm grateful of. Not to mention the number of home projects that requiring my assistance is increasing with time and more complex too.
I'm enjoying my "new" role to help him grow. From as simple as reading books, to preparing a presentation, repeating some materials he had at school to answering unexpected questions. My son has made quite a remarkable leap this year and even though i manage to make myself more available, i don't think it's sufficient.
So vivement 2014 for the completion of the project, the awaited 4 months leave (or maybe more?), and future assignment. A year where i can find a break to breath and enjoy precious moments with my loved ones.
Let's hope that You approve my 2014 plan dear God :)

Husband will also be moving. Transfer is confirmed beginning December 2013 for a position he's mostly acknowledged of. So congrats dear. I know you're great at this and 2014 will be your year..our year..kakak's year..adek's year..insya Allah :)

Paris, Decembre 2013

Kak, mama pamit pergi lagi. Cukup lama juga, seminggu lebih. Kali ini mama ditemenin adek di perut. Kakak baek2 sama papa dan nenek yang datang khusus dari bandung nemenin kakak. Doain mama dan adek juga baik2 aja di perjalanan, sampai nyampe rumah dan bisa peluk kakak lagi. Baik2 di sekolah dan di rumah ya. A bientot, kakak!
