@DoctorGraffin

I missed Mr. Graffin’s concert last night. Sad. But not much of regret. I really wanted to go, though. I asked my bro @okipwn once but since he’s getting married this week, he refused the idea. I wanted to go alone, but hubby told me not so cause I just got back from france and worried I won’t be fit for my bro’s wed. and I accepted, just like killing the idea of watching the cranberries on one cousin’s wed. Gee, this wedding stuff never stops huh? (Joking)

I love punk rock especially Bad Religion. My bros are responsible for introducing me the their music. When other teenagers are busy talking bout the newest boy band, we were like analyzing Mr. Graffin’s lyrics. Gee, we were weird huh? It’s a relief and deliberating to know that an american, doctor + lecturer majoring in anthropology had a twisting image of his own country.

Next time Doctor!

de retour

by the way, just got back from paris. the kid gave me a warm hug when i arrived at home. HEAVEN.

and no 5 star hotel bed could ever beat your own bed, plus hugs (and kicks) from your loved ones. NEVER.

Suis-je naïve?

“kok lo mau sih digituin?”
“protes napa?”
“mbak tuh disirikin lho”

Pilar sama papa bobonya ya, ga sama mama dulu.
P: Piya ikut! Naik pesawat!
M: Duduk di mana? Masa di koper mama?
P: Kope piya aja, warna nguning, ada lebah (*koper kuning pilar berbentuk lebah*)
M: -_-

Love you, kiddo!

Something cute occurred during this holiday. Pilar seems to be equally attached to both his mom and his dad. Now that the breastfeeding period is over, the father gets to interact in a more intense way than he used to.
The kid now asks his dad to bath him, to carry him, to play with him. He sometimes asks me to accompany them. But most of the time the boys are doing just fine by themselves.

I’m about to leave them abroad this week-end, for 10 full days. It’s a record. The previous ones were limited to 5 days maximum. I’m trying hard to let go the feeling of sad+guilty and turn them into thankful+joy. Why? Because God has smoothened my plan years back to allow me to profit the first two years of my son’s life, to give him all the necessary basic needs, before finally get the chance to grab work’s so far greatest challenge.

I must thank Him. People say opportunity doesn’t knock twice, but He made it: “opportunity knocks at the right moment” for me. The timing might be considered late for some people, but it is just perfect for me.

Wow, what an intro for a post which is supposed to be a pre-extended holiday post, as I will be seeing some old mates from campus, having girls day & nite out on my birthday, catching up stories with them, with non-stop French culinary, in between a training organized by my former campus :)
