Not get drowned in tears. Padahal udah banjir air mata pas pamitan sama anak. Sama bapaknya malah lempeng (karena beliau pas lagi telecon) :P

Mari canangkan rute lari di waktu senggang selama tugas kali ini.

Karena sdh pernah mampir jadi turis di 2 kota ini sebelumnya, saya jadi ga terlalu tertarik eksplor. Mau lari saja :) Semoga cuaca dan lingkungan bersahabat ya. Mari carbo loading dulu di pesawat!

This year

I will be missing the kid’s annual performance at school. He’s been rehearsing for months and updating me every now and then the progress. It simply breaks my heart. Even though the father managed to get annual leave and we managed to get grandma’s presence on the date, I’m still hurt and there’s no way I can cope with the feeling.

As much as it’s hard for me, it is indeed harder for the kid. Up until now, he still can’t bare the fact that mama will be going to another biz trip right on the date he will be performing. He keeps saying that I could still go to work but I shouldn’t go anywhere outside the country. “Your office is in Jakarta, not in Italy nor Austria. So stay!” Son, if only I had the power to stop the time and postpone all the related work issues just for that day, watch you perform LIVE, not just the video the school preparing.

For now I still can resist to shed no tear. I don’t know then. Probably work will keep me busy, but you know what? Even though I will be far by distance, you know I’m always close by heart.

I love you kid. Kill the stage. Make mama proud like you always do.

Hey kid. I'm writing this at the nearby mall. Waiting your dad to pick me up. I got us our fave taro milk tea with bubble :) i'll be leaving in no time. Wish mama a big luck ya so i can come home as planned.

Mama is now in houston, in the hotel room at 3am. This jetlag keeps me awake so i decided to work. I called you several times but you sound unhappy :(  hope you are fine there with nenek coming ya. Take care kid.

Mama sedang di rumah mika! Mika tanya pilarnya mana ko ga ikut. Kapan2 kita kesini lagi ya nak sama papa. Barusan papa tlp bilang pilar badannya anget udah 2 hari dan besok mau ke dokter. Semoga ga ada yg serius ya sayang. Malam ini mama pulang dan lusa tiba di jakarta. Insya Allah. I miss you two so much.

Mama sudah di bandara houston.Just called papa, he said you're still asleep. The doctor appointment will be 3 hours from now and i'll be in the plane so i won't find out the news until landed in qatar after 15h flight. Kangen sangat nak :( hope you're alright there.

On overnight transit in doha. Half way to be back in your arms again. Kangennya sampe ke tulang.

Mamah sudah di taksi menuju rumah. Almost at the end of a long and tiring journey. Soon there'll be another one(s) coming. Nothing to do but embrace. Hamdallah.
