people come and go

Em, t'es qu'une fille que je connais depuis un petit temps, pas plus de 2 semaines precisement. mais j'ai l'impression qu'on se connait depuis..20ans! je me souviens bien, un midi, mon premier jour a balikpapan, dans la navette qui nous amene a l'hotel, tu t'es presentee, avec ton accent ecossais (que j'adore d'ailleur!), "Hi, I'm Emma, and you are?" toute souriante comme toujours. et depuis, on passe que de bons moments ensemble: kebun sayur, bc, cb, borneo (beh cette nuit la, j'oublierai jamais cocotte!), bekapai park, kaizeki, garden cafe, ... on a pas pu faire karaoke chez happypup, mais bon un jour on le rattrapera! comme des series de discussions sur RUU APP :D, le boulout, la vie, les mecs ;) ou bien des tonnes de conneries (je te jure, un jour on va faire une soiree ou ils jouent "sit down" de James et je serai la seule personne debout et crie: "Stand up!!!" hahaha).
2 petites semaines m'a suffit pour te connaitre, te faire confiance, t'admirer!
bon voyage, bonnes vancances, passe bonjour a ton Ian (j'ai hate de voir le mec qui te supporte!!!), et a bientot Emma Rose McKae Preston (pour pas dire adieu) T_T

Topic of the day

Had a nice and "seru" conversation with may and cepi @ cepi's place this afternoon, after Lia's delicious mie ayam session ;) off course.
1st discussion was around the exodus trend among TIEP both young and experienced employees. mmm kinda hot issue lately ;) hehe
2nd one, the funny one, it's jodoh2an stuffs! i think almost everyone (i'm exagerating off course) is dying to fix me with someone. Starting from my best friend in jakarta who wants me to meet her cousin on her wedding day (which i did not attend unfortunately), then another best friend also in jakarta who sent me a friendster message saying that i should meet one of her friends cause she believes that we have a lot of things in common, and this fixing thing continues until here in balikpapan, etc etc...
And all I can do is SMILE :)

it's been 5 days that i stepped my foot for the 3rd time in balikpapan. 1st time was with Pak Marcus (my chef in PT Rekayasa Industri back then) for client visit to PKT Bontang (5 hours drive from sepinggan airport) early 2003. 2nd time was for interview with the company I work for now 3 years ago. and this time, well this time i'm here to work!

almost forget! why do i change my blog? a simple reason actually. i want to link my blog to my friends' blogs. my latest blog was with multiply, which is not really practical. but i'm still gonna use it to upload some pictures though! so for those of you who don't now the address, there you go: arymia.multiply.com

and why do i name it: ...et la suite... (...and next...)? simply because in this town, i continue my 25 years and 6 months life. after bandung, jakarta, paris, pau, then back to paris, now it's the turn of balikpapan. i'm pretty sure that there will be lots of things to be discovered, to be learned here (besides work stuffs off course) :) and new friends to share those things with me.

my blog is actually my diary, so please don't expect that you will read wise words or heavy reflections on it since it's not the purpose. some words will be written in my not sesuai eyd indonesian, my very rude sundanese, my broken french, or even my messy spanish (still gathering the motivation to continue my spanish course he2).

i'll share more of my journey in my new hometown balikpapan later on, quite sleepy and tired right now. just let me say one thing, i love being back in my home country!
